DEPARTMENT OF FOREIGN TRADE AND RELATIONS WITH THE EUROPEAN UNION

The objective of the Department of Foreign Trade and Relations with The European Union, is to advise the Small and Medium Size Enterprises (SME's) over the best way to penetrate the international markets, establish and promote the Spanish companies in the international market, establish partnerships with foreign companies and to offer an adequate support with which improve competitiveness and development.

To achieve all these objectives we dispose of collaborators of recognized prestige in all the countries of the European Union, United States of America, Morocco and Latin America. We are also cooperating with the European Union correspondent in Spain, who is integrated in the "Business Cooperation Network" (B.C. NET) and the "Bureau de Rapprochement des Enterprise" (B.R.E.). We are therefore in position to offer:

• Advisory services over potential commercial contacts, export opportunities, and imports of products and technologies.

• Procedures for international payments and collection.

• International contracting.

• Aids and subsides which can be obtained through the different funds and financial instruments that the European Union makes available.

• Assistance in the preparation of European projects, as well as support and follow-up.

• Participation in projects of technological development and industrial cooperation....

• Possibility of finding foreign and national financial, commercial or technical partners, for the establishment of agreements, joint ventures and strategic alliances.

• Participation in international calls for tenders and proposals.

• Continuous information and updating over those aspects which may affect companies, through our contacts in Brussels.

• Organization of seminars and presentations at conferences aimed at orienting and encouraging companies to benefit of the new European context.
